An elegant and shy monkey
This elegant primate has a striking appearance with an orange crescent on its forehead and a white beard. An omnivore, it mainly eats fruit, but also enjoys leaves and fungi, and even a few small insects and worms! It lives in small groups and is skilled at keeping hidden to avoid detection by predators: its fur provides camouflage among the vegetation and it communicates more through facial expression and gesture than vocally.
