Nous sommes très heureux de vous annoncer que notre famille de tamanoir s’est agrandie !
Le 10 juillet 2018, est arrivé le deuxième petit de notre couple. Au tout début, il était peu visible, bien camouflé sur le dos de sa mère. Dos duquel il ne descendait quasiment pas, ce qui est tout à fait normal lors du premier mois de vie d’un tamanoir…

Mais depuis, ce jeune fourmilier a bien grandi ! On le repère désormais aisément, et il commence à faire ses premiers pas sur la terre ferme ! Mais il passe encore beaucoup de temps accroché sa mère. Il nous faudra donc encore quelques semaines de patience avant de pouvoir connaitre son sexe, et donc lui trouver un nom !

We are very happy to announce that our family of anteater has grown!
July 10, 2018, arrived the second calf of our couple. At first, it was not very visible, well camouflaged on the back of its mother. The back of which it did not go down almost, which is quite normal during the first month of life of nanteater …

But since then, this young anteater has grown well! It is now easy to spot, and it begins to take its first steps on the ground! But it still spends a lot of time hanging on its mother. It will take us a few more weeks of patience before we can know its sex, and so find its a name!
